Menlo Park Academy (MPA) is a school serving gifted children in grades K-6. We are seeking experienced teachers who can demonstrate the ability to design, plan and implement instruction for students with advanced cognitive and reasoning abilities. You must be flexible, highly motivated, with a sense of humor and the ability to bring high-level information and skills to young students in innovative ways. We are looking for a dedicated team player, excited and comfortable working with children who have asynchronous or uneven development who can be intense, sensitive and passionate. You must have excellent communication and classroom management skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to show initiative. Experience in use of technology for distance learning and other applications in education is also expected. The position requires teaching experience and certification from the State of Ohio with knowledge of gifted children. Preference will be given to those who have earned their gifted endorsement.
