OAGC - Ohio Association for Gifted Children
Fall Conference

OAGC Is Going Virtual!

The 68th OAGC Annual Fall Conference is October 18 -  20.

Updated Registration Information:

Fall Conference - We will continue to accept registrations for the conference even after the conference date as all recorded and live sessions will be available until the middle of January. Please email or fax registrations by noon on Sunday, October 18 to be partipate in all live sessions. If you think you are registered for the conference but did not receive an email confirmation or if you have not received Whova access information, please contact

Parent Day - We will continue to accept faxed and emailed registrations for parent day until noon on October 18. Registration is for the live sessions only on Sunday.

What this means - It means that regardless of restraints on travel and in-person meetings, Ohio educators can still participate in high-quality professional development designed to help them meet the needs of Ohio’s gifted children.

What stays the same -  OAGC will still be hosting two great keynote speakers, Jim Delisle and Colin Seale, along with live and recorded sessions from national and state presenters. We will still have exhibitors ready to help attendees with classroom, assessment, education, and other materials. There will still be opportunities to interact with other attendees and with presenters. There will still be graduate credit offered through Ashland University. And we will still have Parent Day with Sunday sessions on October 18.

What will be different -  Unfortunately, we will not be onsite at the beautiful Hilton at Easton. Instead, the conference will take place on an easy-to-use virtual platform. Some of the sessions will be prerecorded so that attendees can view them at the time of the conference or afterward. Presenters will still be available to answer questions in a chat box for pre-recorded sessions. In addition, all the live-stream sessions will be recorded so that attendees can view them live or watch them later when they have more time. The sessions will be available to attendees for up to three months after the event. Attendees will receive 15 contact hours whether the view the conference live or asynchronously. All sessions from all three days of the conference will be available to full conference registrants.

How to register -  You can download a registration form from this page or register online at Please make sure you register with the email address you want to use for the conference platform. If you have questions about registration, please contact Kay Tarbutton at Please contact Ann Sheldon at for all other questions.
