Gifted Training Programs in Ohio Gifted Praxis II Subject Exam Validation Results

In 2008, the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) along with the Educational Testing Service (ETS) ran a validation study on the Gifted Praxis II subject exam. The purpose of the validation study was to determine whether the exam was appropriate for use in Ohio. Based on the results, the Ohio Department of Education has decided not to require this examination for gifted licensure. The following document includes more details about the validation study and ODE's decision.
