OAGC Teacher Academy 

The Teacher Academy will be held on February 24th and 25th, 2020 and will feature Dr. Richard Cash.  For more information, links to hotel reservations, or to download a registration form, please go to . Remember the deadline for discounted hotel rates is Feburary 3, 2020. The early registration deadline for the academy is February 10, 2020. Fall Conference Call for Proposal

EdChoice Vouchers, Double Testing, and Future Education Issues

The Ohio General Assembly is currenlty working under a tight deadline to mitigate some issues with EdChoice eligibility that need to be resolved by Feburary 1, 2020. In addition, ODE is seeking input on how to best deal with middle school double testing as a result of the elimination of the state Geometry and ELA 1 end of course exam. For more details on these as well as other issues that policymakers ill be tackling in 2020, please go to

Gifted HQPD -- High Quality Professional Development

As the 2018 revised gifted operating standards are now in effect, OAGC has been working hard to assist districts in implementing the new classroom teacher gifted HQPD requirement. We have an incredible amount of new tools and information to assist gifted professionals and districts. Also, we continue to develop Ohio-specific professional development through our partnership with GTIGNITE.   For more information about these courses along with all the incredible new tools and documents that will help you plan, provide, and track gifted HQPD, please go to .
