Coordinator Divsion Winter Workshop 

The OAGC Coordinator Division will hold its annual winter workshop on December 7, 2018. The workshop "Social Emotional Learning and the Gifted Child" will feature Dr. Tracy Cross.  The conference will be held at the Quest Center. The deadline to register is November 23, 2018. OAGC Teacher Academy Call for Proposal Deadline

Proposals are due for the OAGC Teacher Academy on December 17, 2018. The Teacher Academy will be held on February 25th and 26th, 2018 and will feature Lisa Van Gemert. To download a call for proposal, please go to www.oagc.com/teacheracademy.asp

Lame Duck Session/Elections

The Ohio General Assembly is now back in business after a lengthy break to campaign. The November and December sessions held before a new General Assembly is seated are generally referred to as Lame Duck Session. Watch for interesting and possibly unexpected legislation. Arts Scholarship Deadline Coming Up

OAGC Review Articles Needed 

OAGC is looking for a few good articles for the Winter Review. To ask for an extension, or to submit articles, please email anngift@aol.com  by November 15th. 

Gifted HQPD -- High Quality Professional Development

As the 2018 revised gifted operating standards are now in effect, OAGC has been working hard to assist districts in implementing the new classroom teacher gifted HQPD requirement. We have an incredible amount of new tools and information to assist gifted professionals and districts. Also, we continue to develop Ohio-specific professional development through our partnership with GTIGNITE.   For more information about these courses along with all the incredible new tools and documents that will help you plan, provide, and track gifted HQPD, please go to oagc.com/hqpd.asp .
