OAGC April News Flash - Advocacy Updates, Board Nominations and Scholarship Deadline, and More!

Report Card Reforms and Budget News

There are now two bills focused on state report card reform. The first is HB200 which was introduced in early March in the Ohio House. The second is SB145, which was introduced in late March in the Ohio Senate. OAGC has thoughts about both bills. The organization served on a workgroup that forged the ideas going into SB145. For more details on these dueling bills, please go to

The biennial budget process is still behind closed doors. It is likely that the Ohio House will introduce a substitute bill once the General Assembly returns from spring break.
